The Illingworth Research team again choose a local charity to give a little Christmas cheer. This was instead of sharing Christmas cards as we feel it is more important to try and give to schemes such as this in greater need.
We are very happy to report that the teams Christmas jumper day raised £86 for the charity, this was then followed up with individual Christmas card donations and a company donation. In total Illingworth Research raised just over £250 to help Cheshire Street Wise in their latest fundraising campaign… the largest sum Illingworth Research has ever raised over the Christmas period.
This incredibly worthy cause was selected at random in a draw which was held at the teams Christmas celebrations. The charity was a popular winner for this year’s donations with all the team chipping in a contribution.
The charity has reached 20% of their £2,000 target, the £2,000 is to keep the charities furniture project growing by purchasing a van. Cheshire Street Wise is a small local community charity which aims to get local people off the street into various types of accommodation. Delivering furniture, clothes and food to support socially isolated individuals in the area.
Illingworth would like to wish the charity every success, it is a fantastic cause and provides excellent support to vulnerable local people. We are hopeful their latest fundraising campaign will prove productive and hope our efforts will prove a good start for the charity to push towards its final goal.
