Illingworth Research Group, the industry leading patient centric solutions provider, offering mobile Research Nursing, Medical Imaging and Patient Concierge services for clinical trials, are continuing their global expansion with the opening of a new Australian office in Melbourne.

Kevin Wightman, Senior Director, Business and Corporate Development, Asia Pacific, is leading the expansion of services in Australia, New Zealand, and the wider Asia Pacific, together with Illingworth’s experienced Australian Research Nurse team. Kevin has been instrumental in the selection of the exciting new premises and remarked “the new Asia Pacific hub office, here in Melbourne’s vibrant St Kilda district, offers Illingworth staff and clients alike a great location and flexible working space with convenient access to the CBD and public transport. This expansion also reflects the increase in appetite for flexible patient centric trial solutions in Australia and globally, as well as the pivotal role that Australia can play in the rapidly evolving Asia Pacific clinical trial ecosystem”.
The Illingworth Asia Pac team has also welcomed Chris Aprim to provide additional support in the Business Development and Proposals functions as the team continues to grow.
Chris joins Illingworth from a leading global phase I specialist service provider where he gained valuable experience across several roles in Clinical Operations, Project Management and Business Development. Chris’ clinical site perspective and thorough understanding of the Australian clinical research landscape coupled with his experience from initial Request-For-Proposal to First-Patient-In will prove invaluable in his new role.
